    Summary

Before passing away, Mom Jao Thraisak, the father of Alisa and Athisak, asked the two siblings to continue on his vengeance with the Asawarath family. Mom Jao Thraisak was once accused by Phraya Sawamipakrath of being a rebel so he had to flee in shame to Mon Pha Luang. Athisak and Alisa promised their father that they would do so.

After World War II ended, Lieutenant Yothin Asawarath, the son of Phraya Sawamipakrath, was now a military hero with a bright future. He is also engage to Phiromya, who is the daughter of Rathrit, a Minister in the government. Although Phraya Sawamipakrath is facing bankruptcy with his Thai Maritime Navigation Company so Athisak took this opportunity to buy the company’s stock. Athisak also offered money to restore the company but under one condition, Yothin had to become a prisoner at Mon Pha Luang for one year, Phraya Sawamipakrath unwillingly agreed.

Yothin had to suppressed his honor and followed Athisak to Mon Pha Luang by lying to Phiromya that he’s on a business trip for this father up north. The Santatiwong family was able to fulfilled their revenge because both Athisak and Alisa tormented Yothin as a prisoner. Due to Yotin’s bravery and his kindness, he was able to win the hearts of many workers at Mon Pha Luang. No matter how badly Alisa treated him, he was able to overcome it, this made Arnon to admire him greatly so Athisak ordered Yothin to be Arnon’s teacher.

Alisa would often ridicule Yothin for lying to Phiromya about being a prisoner so Yothin sneered back by saying that she’ll never understand because she doesn’t know the meaning of love. Alisa got angry so she ordered Yothin to deliver a letter to Chiangrat within one day. She wanted him to know that she already has a lover who is Jao Kwanfah of Chiangrat Territory. Alisa is confident in Kwanfah’s love for her but she didn’t know that even though Kwanfah loves her, he is also a player and has wives everywhere. He had many wives in the royal court including Intawilai, his relative whom his mother hoped to be his wife. Sribow who is Alisa’s closet maid was even Kwanfah’s wife.

Alisa hated Yothin’s arrogance so she ordered him to go pick up a box of her clothes in town. Yothin had to travel through the rain in difficulties but when he delivered the box of clothes to Alisa, she told him to throw them away even though it wasn’t that dirty. The torture that Yothin had to endured made him ill and Alisa was starting to feel guilty but Yothin was still arrogant and wouldn’t accept the sympathy from his enemy.

Athisak tormented Yothin harsher by inviting the minister, Rathrit, and his daughter, Phiromya, to Mon Pha Luang. Phiromya finally got to meet Yothin, but Yothin was speechless and embarrassed. Although, all Phiromya knew was that Yothin was Athisak’s guest.

Kwanfah came to Mon Pha Luang so Alisa decided to have a welcoming party for everyone. Phiromya forced Yothin to attend the party and at the party, she set him up to dance with Alisa while she danced with Kwanfah. Kwanfah stayed and travel around with the minister hoping to get something in return. Phiromya urged Yothin to travel around the north with them so he was insulted by Alisa the whole way that he didn’t noticed Kwanfah getting close to Phiromya .

Sribow secretly came to see Jao Kwanfah but he didn’t care about her so she threatened to tell Alisa that she is also Kwanfah’s wife. Kwanfah then had to use his charm to stop Sribow from talking. Phiromya came to see Yothin at his house and found a letter from Phraya Sawamipakrath so she found out the truth about Yothin’s real status of being a prisoner. Phiromya was very angry so she broke off their engagement and went to see Kwanfah instead.

The party and the traveling ended, Athisak returned to Bangkok and learned that Phraya Sawamipakrath was sick so he allowed Yothin to go visit his father in Bangkok. Yothin’s heart became numb after finding out about Phiromya and Kwanfah’s wedding, but Kwanfah had to marry Phiromya because he got her pregnant. Phiromya was angry that Kwanfah is always cold towards her so she’s starting to feel jealous of Alisa and she threw away a present that Alisa gave to Kwanfah which made him outraged. Because of the minister’s power, Kwanfah had to allowed Phiromya to come live in Chiangrat even though he still loves Alisa. Sribow was furious that Kwanfah got married so she went to Chiangrat and proposed a plan to kidnap Alisa and that Kwanfah had to accept her (Sribow) to be his wife.

Kwanfah accepted the plan so Sribow wrote a fake letter pretending to be Phiromya asking to see Alisa. Athisak had a bad feeling so he asked Yothin to return to Mon Pha Luang to take care of Alisa but Yothin didn’t get there in time. Kwanfah had already kidnapped Alisa and Arnon to Pu Jao Cliff. Alisa was disappointed that Sribow had betrayed her so she tried to find a way to escape by having Arnon sneak away in one of Kwanfah worker’s car to the royal court to tell Phiromya of what happened.

After Arnon was finished telling Phiromya, he coincidentally met with Yothin who came to Chiangrat. Yothin planned a way to escape with Arnon while Kwanfah tried to raped Alisa but wasn’t successful because Arnon came just in time. At night, Yothin came to Pu Jao Cliff and Phiromya followed, she went to see Kwanfah but met with Intawilai first. The two of them got into a fight and Phiromya miscarried, because of her anger Phiromya shot Intawilai to death. Yothin went in to help Alisa but Kwanfah was there, Kwanfah was going to shoot Yothin but Alisa got a hold of the gun and aimed it at Kwanfah. Sribow had a knife in her hand and she tried to stab Alisa but Kwanfah got in the way and died. Sribow was very sad that she missed and killed Kwanfah instead so she used the same knife on herself and died.

Yothin took Alisa and Arnon out while a group of Chiangrat followed them close so the three of them had to climb down the cliff, walked through waters, and other difficult obstacles until they met with Athisak’s men. Yothin took Alisa and Arnon to shelter at a famer’s house, but the Chiangrat men followed them and started to search the house so Yothin and Alisa had to go hide in the stable making the two closer. Their feelings began to change and eventually they were able to safely travel back to Mon Pha Luang.

Athisak decided to ripped up the prisoner contract to repay Yothin back for helping Alisa. Yothin got angry that Athisak and Alisa made the decision without asking him so he put his anger on Alisa like he never did before. Yothin rode a horse out of Mon Pha Luang the next day without saying farewell to anyone but Alisa rode her horse after him which made him soften up. The two revealed their feelings to one another and Yothin promised to return to Mon Pha Luang in another status that is not a prisoner and Alisa promised to wait until that day…

Sung Jai Mai Fung / I command, but my heart won’t listen
By Mr. Team and Pannada Reungwuth

All I could do is asked myself when did it changed?
Changed the heart of someone cold
Something inside the heart slowly begins to be more profound
All these times, I didn’t realized it

I saw the weakness in your eyes whenever we’re close
I’m afraid to think or dream
    So what should I do?

    * It’s like my heart is not mine, it never listen to my command
No matter how many times I tell it that there’s no way but I still love you
It’s strange that my heart is being stubborn, I can’t stop it
No matter what, it only loves you and it will never change its mind

No matter how much I wanted to win, but my heart still loses to you
When I’m distracted, I’m always wrong for thinking of having feelings for you
I might pretend like I don’t care but deep inside, I’m secretly shaken
I have to hide it, I’m the only one who can know

No matter how strong I am, but my heart is weak towards you and it has always been like that
I gave my heart for you to keep

    Repeat *, *

I can never command my heart, I tried to stop it but it won’t listen because I only love you
